Carmen is an Arizona native raised in Utah after moving there at a young age. Living in Utah, she had the opportunity to enjoy seeing the mountains 24/7 and enjoyed the outdoors. Later, life guided her to her current career as a litigation paralegal.
Carmen began work as an intake specialist at a personal injury firm in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she gained knowledge and experience that helped her work her way up as a Senior Litigation Paralegal. In her seven-year career, she has had the opportunity to use her Spanish-speaking skills and work with the Hispanic community to help them get the help and justice they deserve.
In 2022, she decided to step back and fulfill her biggest dream of traveling the world. That year, she visited many different countries and states, including North Carolina, where she fell in love with the people and the trees. This led her to move to Charlotte in December 2022 and, in May of 2023, she joined the Van Kampen team as the Office Manager/Litigation Paralegal.
Carmen enjoys reading, building Legos, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
