“We are really excited about the new website and videos,” says Van Kampen. “An increasing number of website visitors prefer video, so we geared the new site to meet this demand. With the instability in the job market over the last several years, more and more employees have questions about their rights as job discrimination complaints hit an all time high in 2011 according to the EEOC. Unfortunately, many clients wait too long before they consult with an attorney and, as a result, lose opportunities to strengthen their cases. To that end, the website video content is not only designed to provide a basic understanding of core employment law protections, but is also very casual and approachable in its presentation in order to foster a comfort level with the client.”

“The litigation process can be intimidating enough for clients without dressing it up in a suit and tie,” adds Van Kampen. “While I wear a suit to court, I’ve shed the formal look in our videos. If we’re not in court, a deposition or mediation, we’re in jeans and a blazer, and I wanted the website to reflect that.
